Hi there,
Goodness gracious! I have been on a sabatical from my blog! I have good reason.... or at least it's my good reason. My load is just all reading and writing this semester and sometimes I can only be at the computer for so long. Many of you know what I mean. Well, I am back and from now on I will try to be better about blogging way earlier in the day so I don't burn myself out online.
I have a Geograaphy of Oregon class I am taking right now which has been teaching me quite a bit about the lovely state I live in. Our state is not only gorgeous but functions pretty darn well. Okay, so we could use a few more jobs..... but other than that it's pretty darn awesome! My teacher Mrs. Campbell is awesome as well as her passion for our state shows in every way. Her passion makes my passion want to come out and play. I love it!
I met someone tonight that was pretty cool. We talked and talked. I don't think either of us wanted to stop. It sure is refreshing when you meet someone intriguing. I recommend it. You should try it sometime. Touche!
You know what? This is the life we live right now at this very moment! Enjoy it. Reap the rewards of this life, in this body you are in, while you can. What happends tomorrow? Do you know? I don't! So enjoy life. It's too short not to!

Something exciting to share......
Hi there,
Last week I did something I have only done a few other times in my life.... yet never alone. It was Rock Band Night at Ground Kontrol and I sang Shania Twainss Any Man of Mine all by myself.... and unless they were lying.... everyone said I did great. There may be a repeat performance this week. You never know.

By the way, can I just say that the city of Tigard has some of the best looking Police Officers around. I look at other cities Police Officers to see if they compare and it's not even close. Next time you pull up next to a Tigard Oregon Police Officer, take a look, and say hi with a wave. You will agree. Even if you are of the male race.

R.I.P. Bruce the Wonder Chihuahua...........
Hi there,
Well, I cannot say much for todays post other than Rest in Peace Bruce.
My friends had to put their 8 year old rescue Chihuahua, Bruce, down yesterday. He encountered major complications from his tumor removal and herniated disc repair surgery. I heard he was strong until the end and almost quivered a smile at his mommy as she held him until the moment he passed.
I cried when I heard today. We cried together, Katie and I.
Bruce, we will all meet up again one day where you are. You are DEARLY LOVED and TRULY MISSED!!!!!

One Awesome Feline Detective in recovery..... One painful memory resurfaces as I write my speech.....
Hi there,
The Georgia is still resting hard like I should be after her week long horrible ordeal.
The memory that has resurfaced his ugly head is from the Los Angeles 1994 Earthquake which I lived through. The speech is for my public speeking class. You know, the main reason I moved to Oregon so much earlier than expected was because of the Earthquake. It was in January of 1994 and I was living here in August of 1994. I swear I got PTSD from that crazy experiance. To this day the thought of living through something like that again is terrifying for me. I may move to the next state if we ever have anything like that.
Yes, I do know that Oregon has plenty of fault lines. However, In the 19 years I lived in California we had plenty. I have been in Oregon for 17 years and we haven't really had anything to make a big fuss of. So there, I stay in Oregon for now! I will start writing about my experiance in this blog as well so stay tuned.....
Kory-I know...... Plan reunion..... I will call you this week.

Major developments in the Pic-Jacker Case!
Hi there,
Hopefully you have noticed my absence for the past few days. The Georgia has been missing and I was following leads far far from the comfort zone of Tigard and Beaverton. I found her this evening and she is not in good shape. I am nursing her back to health so I may find out what exactly happened. At one point I really think she was trying to tell me she know where the pic is and that we no longer have to worry about the Pic-Jacker. But what about his evil henchman the Californian Canine? I need more information from her but she is just too exhausted. I have opened a can of tuna and am getting ready to pull out the laser beam light. Anything to help her. Everyone think good thoughts for her recovery. Thank you!
