Hi there,
OK, so I had to conform and add ads to my minds blog. I hope you don't mind. I do not have a job and since I have a lack of a college students salary, I had to do it. We could say that the economy made me do it. I hope you don't mind too much. I figure it's not that bad. I kind of feel like my minds blog has taken it to the next level. So far Kory is the only one commenting so I will put it up to him to let me know if it's OK. So, Kory, is it OK?? Thanks!
I think I am coming down with something. I am so exhausted. I feel like I could sleep for days and it wouldn't affect me one bit. Unfortunately, my studies will not allow that. Oh, well! Life must go on. I noticed that I have readers in other countries. I welcome you to send me any messages. Would you like me to turn on the translator or are you fine with the way it is. You can send me a note without publishing it. Please let me know what you prefer. I seem to have a few people in Malaysia that keep coming back. HI, readers from MALAYSIA!!!! WELCOME TO MY MINDS BLOG. How are you doing. I'm glad to have you here. Also from the other countries. You know who you are.... WELCOME TOO!!!!
OKEE Doke! I must get some sleep. I know it's early, but I must do what my body is telling me do. No sense in having it get angry at me! I hope you have a great evening! Blog YA LATER! HA HA! xoxoxoxoxo.......
Ciao for now!

Jolly GOOD time at Ava's! Wish you were here......
Hi there,
Mohamed and I are at Ava's doing guess what? Studying! Ha! There is some great live music, almost like folk music. It started out a tad loud, but I just had a talk with the lovely musician's and theye turned it down so GOODY! It's even better than before. Not that we are really listening all that much since, remember, we are crazy college students studying on a Saturday night. My cousin Michael should write a song about that. Michael, get out your writing untensils and get our musical groove on!
I just found out my best friend Alicia's cat-son Johnny Cat is at the vet having emergency surgery on a freakin' abscess! We are praying for you Johnny Cat! Be strong young and foolish cat-son of my best friend Alicia! Be strong MAN!!!! I will update you morrow on his prognosis! It appears he may have a foreign opject in the growing abscess! YUKKY! Yikes Johnny Cat, what the funky chicken have you gotten yourself into! You will have to work many long hours to pay back your hospital bill you crazy feline!
So have a great and productive night yourself. I know we will! Mohamed, thanks for being a trooper today, it takes a strong man to put up with me for this long! Hey, Michael, no message yet! What the funky chicken???? Hi Kory, what up my dear friend! Faisail, seriously, call me! Taylor, Elli, and May A., Victor, and Kojo! You guys are the best for puttong up with me here at Ava's! Life must go on, and on, and on, and on.......
Hi there,
So, sometimes life must go on even if things hurt and one feels like the world is at a standstill. I am very much trying to keep my earth rotating. Please, earth, keep moving so I can too! The person that has made my earth stand still knows it.
Remember the Lesson's in Love. I surely do. I have had a harsh lesson in reality bestowed upon me by someone whom I cared for very deeply. Wow, the lesson's surely do stick in ones mind. Mostly in my mind and of course, my minds blog. Well, life goes on. I have no time for fussing. I have Statics homework up the Yin-Yang. My Yin-Yang. Ouch! My Yin-Yang is killing me. I'm sure there's an equation to solve the force and magnitude. Actually, I know there is. F=M*d(perpendicular) which is Force equals Mass time distance(perdicular). Ha, Chefhats would be so proud!
I have a full weekend packed with, guess what? STUDYING!!!! Surprise, NOT! It's OK though. I just love it! Chefhats and I spent much of the afternoon at Ava'a studying this weeks work. Moments and Couples. I think t one point he was going to start pulling his hair out, or mine. Ha ha, just kidding! Chefhats would never do that. He is most patient and a great teacher. I am lucky he has agreed to help me. I have a doctor's appointment morrow morning followed by our Physics tutor, Nathan, in the Engineering Lab. That is then followed by Ava's once again from late afternoon to late night with my new friend Mohamed from school. He is from Morroco which is totally awesome. We will have our noses deep in the books!
I'm back to the books. If you stop by Ava's Saturday night, come by and say hi! I will be the only Portland Persian Blog-a-Billy Chick there with the cowboy hat on! Oh, and Kory, thanks for the info in the comments! You're the BESTEST!!!!!

Oh AutoCAD...... Wherefore have you been oh AutoCAD?
Hi there,
Yeah, AutoCAD! I think about you when I'm not with you... I wonder about how you really work inside. You confuse me. You interest me. You entice me. You excite me! Alas, in the end, I still wonder how you work!
Phil, oh AutoCAD MASTER! Thank goodness I have you to help me with him. You are the Ringmaster, he is merely the clown! We, at PCC Sylvania are lucky to have you to assist us in discovering, uncovering, and defeating the AutoCAD! Thanks Phil! AutoCAD MASTER!
Oh Engineering Lab at PCC! You are my second home! You are basically my HOME right now! Richard, you are the King of the home! King Richard, without you, the Lab is not a home, just merely a room for us hard working fledgling Engineering students. We are lucky to have you as the King!
Brett, the electricity would not run at our wonderful PCC with out you! You are the Prince of all things that run power at PCC. We are honored to have you to ensure that our campus' are bright!
Statics! OH STATICS! Did you exist before Greg? Yes you did, however, Greg makes you even better! He draws you like you are a beautiful canvas. He speaks you in English. I think he translates you amazingly! You need translating! You are a spunky monkey and he tames you! He is the STATICS CONDUCTOR!
Writing, writing, writing! You never made sense until your Queen brought you into my life. Queen Mary! She made you great to me when no one else could. She handed you to me on a silver platter, and now I indulge in you everyday. You were nothing to me before she introduced you to me. Queen Mary, you truly are a treasure!
Algebra, oh ALGEBRA! I knew I always loved you but when Steve brought you back to me, he made you my soul. Sultan Steve of Algebra, you made him my soul and I thank you and cherish you for it!
Yoga! I love you YOGA! But I didn't always love you. Theresa put you into my heart and soul. Goddess Theresa of YOGA! Yoga, you seemed only like a form of exercise before the Goddess opened my heart and soul to you. Now, everyday I meditate to you! Me and my body love you! The Goddess Theresa did this. Thank you!
Aquatic Exercise! I am lost without you in my life. It is because of Christine that I feel this way! Princess Christine of the wonderful water! You made it amazing, exhilarating and FUN! I miss you and when I can get you back to play nice with my schedule, I'm coming back for more! THANK YOU Christine!
I LOVE MY SCHOOL AND ALL THE WONDERFUL PEOPLE WHO ARE THERE FOR ME EVERYDAY!

Aha! I got comments! And being read in 9 countries! Let's make a toast!
Hi there,
I HAVE COMMENTS! Thanks Kory! You're the greatest! 26 years of friendship and counting! There are only a few other things I've know longer, my mother, sister, family, my being! JBM! I cherish all of them!
You all should see the stuff I learned today in Statics Engineering class. Members anyone? Yup, that's right, I said Members. But not in the sense you might think..... Get your mind out of the gutter! I'm talking Statics Members. Oh my, what a day it was.I had a test too. I hope I did well. I will one day publish photos of the work I am learning!
I'm pretty sure I jammed my finger at school today. My bag slipped out of my hand and took my poor finger with it! I had to miss Yoga. My finger is throbbing with pain. Thank goodness it's my left hand and not my right one! I will be needing the right one for the 20 pages of notes I will be taking at school tomorrow! Greg, my rad Statics teacher, I'm prepared for the lesson with fist in hand and brain intact! I plan on heading to the Lab at about 7am. I will need too find my brain before I get to school. Have you seen it? I may have to send the Georgia out! Phil, Bring on the AutoCAD! My brain is willing to go down with it! Chefhats, you totally helped me like a ROCKSTAR! THANKS!
Hey, by the way, did you know that a cow can walk upstairs, but not downstairs? Just a thought I would leave you with! Silly, but true, baby! Have a great eve!

It's midnight 04.... My bad, blog's late!
Hi there,
I have a personal shout out to Kory! Hi Kory in Sacramento! How's it hanging? I bet you don't have rain out there, way out yonder in sunny California. I heard on the news today that California is number 2 on the top 20 Rudest State List. Portland didn't even make it on the list. Even a better reason to move here!
Total shorty blog today! I'll be back tomorrow!

A day with Zola, a precious Pit-Lab mix and Statics!
Hi there,
Today has been a long day and I am headed to sleep early. I spent the day in the Civil Engineering Lab at PCC Sylvania. My study buddy brought in his service dog-daughter Zola and she was just a gem. She is extremely loving and sweet. She did slip me the tongue though when she first greeted me. Why, Zola, not on the first date, pretty girl. She was beautifully dressed in a very hot and tight dog-tee that stated 100% Mutt. It was a gift from me and she wore it quite well, I might say!
I was stuck on a problem for a few hours and it turned out that I mistook my tension, for my compression. Hello, where was my brain when I needed her! I think she attempted to take a day off. I cannot and will not accept that so after a time-out, she was back for the long haul. Thank goodness. Unfortunately, she ended up out lasting me. I am headed to bed. Have a great Saturday night and if you are out at a club or restaurant, have a glass of wine for me please. I sure do miss my finely aged grape pleasure.

Statics and loving it!
Hi there,
So I am here at Ava's doing my Statics homework. Vectors and scalars and compression, OH MY! Force, magnitude, and tension too! If you are in school, you may know what I am talking about. If not, google it! It's always nice to learn something new. Don't you agree! I'm working hard, and loving every minute of it! How do people go to college nd work full time? I simply do not think I could handle it.
I have a Casio Classpad graphing calculator! It's the BOMB DIGGITY! It's the only thing that saves me any time, what-so-ever! You should check this thing out. In class, I can plug in any equation and have it pop up in just a second. So far, it seems like simultanious equations are the only thing my wiz Classpad thinks about for 3 seconds before it pops up the answer. Everything is else is quick like the roadrunner. OK, Wile-E Coyote, try to catch my Casio Classpad now! Seriously, if you are going to school and in need of a graphing calculator, try the Casio. You will not be disappointed. I surely am not.
OK, back to my studies. Have a great Friday night. Try not to party too hard! Have a drink for me! I think I need one. Maybe sometime in late March I will partake a shot of my favorite Fireball. Until then, I will drink vicariously through you..... If you are of legal drinking age, that is!

Bruce, the OCD Australian Shepherd man-dog! and Oxford comma.....
Hi there,
We have this dog in our engineering lab at school. He is a service dog. He is so funny. I am wanting to get a video of him going all sorts of OCD on Richard our lab manager and his red laser light. I mean, I have seen cats and dogs go crazy over the little red light, but Bruce goes just WACK-JOB on it. Richard told me he had to ween him off of it for a while because he would not let it go. You should see his expression. It's like he is a calculating human saying more please. You know, that funny dog in the movie Cats and Dogs that is obsessed over the ball. Throw the ball, throw the ball, throw the ball, throw the ball........ But Bruce takes it one step further! He is aimlessly following Richard around in the lab waiting for him to bust out the laser light. I caught Richard telling him today, "Bruce, you have to wait until recess. It's class time right now." It was the funniest thing I have ever heard a human tell a dog. Maybe we should refer to Bruce as "man-dog"..... Definitely more on Bruce, the man-dog in the future. The saga must go on!
Do you know what an Oxford comma is? It is a serial comma. For example, I might say a sentence like-I have 2 cats, a dog, 3 birds, a horse, and a partridge in a pear tree. The comma separating the horse and the partridge in a pear tree is an Oxford comma. Vampire Weekend sings a song called "Oxford Comma" and that's how I found out. I haven't always used it, but I do now. I also learned what a Mansard roof was from Vampire Weekend. They are a great band. Listen to their music. Go onto Pandora and check it out. I think you may like it to. Ever heard of Ray LaMontagne? Check out his music too. AWESOME!
Back to homework for me. Let's talk tomorrow!

AWESOME!

A few tips on staying young and fresh even as you age like a fine wine.........
Hi there,
I received a tip from my sister many years ago when I was 18 years old. A beautiful customer came into her store and when my sister found out her age, she was shocked. She asked her what it was she had done to stay looking so young and beautiful. The lady told her that she had been using eye cream and moisturizer on her face and eyes since she was 18 years old. She told my sister that if she started young, the need for those really expensive and sometimes harsh creams and treatments may not be necessary. My wonderful sis came home and told me about it. I ran to the drug store, I should say we ran to the drug store, and picked up eye cream and facial moisturizer. There was no need to spend a lot of money as we still had supple young tight skin. That woman changed our lives as we both look far younger than our true ages.
Now there's a caveat to this splendor which is: you must never use any finger but your ring finger when touching your gentle eye area. Think of your skin as elastic like a rubber band. There is no such thing as a timeless rubber band so every time you rub your eye area, top or bottom, with any other finger.... well you're other fingers are much stronger and can add much needed force to the gentle skin, therefore, stretching it just like that old useless stretched out rubber band you need to throw away. Also, as you apply the eye cream, make sure you simply tap it lightly onto the delicate skin. Now, when you apply the facial moisturizer, make sure you so not place too much force onto your facial skin and you gently stroke upwards, never downwards. This is coming from an engineering student who knows what force and magnitude is and what it is capable of. OK, truth be told, I'm still learning about Statics, but still, force is force, silly! Also, do not neglect your neck area as well, since that skin too may stretch out into the wrinkly elephant skin we are all aware of. Now, boys, you might want to take this advice as well. You don't have to tell your guy friends about it, but as the years go by and you maintain your youthful appearance, they will ask. Hopefully, you can pass on the information so they too may take advantage of the youthful secrets that have long been kept in the dark.
This is coming from someone whom is constantly mistaken for a girl in her early 20's. Please take my advise. In 20 years, you will thank me for it. Oh, and another thing which is great. If you have dry or ashy skin, try applying baby oil to your body right out of the shower when your skin is still damp. It will clear that right up. Now, don;t go crazy with the stuff though. It can bleed onto your wonderful wardrobe so use it sparingly. One bottle can last a very, very long time. I use about a quarter size worth. If baby oil is just plain too greasy for you, try Johnson's baby oil lotion. The stuff smells great and it's less greasy. Baby oil is also great right after you shave your legs, ladies, and some guys too, if that's your thing-a-doodle! Gotta get some shut-eye.

Sail...... Awolnation................. Do I have your attention now?
Hi there,
I can't get this song out of my head. Yes, that's right, it's a song. The group is Awolnation. It's crazy sick how this song is haunting my mind. Therefore, it must be published in my minds blog. Check it out on YouTube. Look up Awolnation-Sail by Topha12, or if you want to check it out with the lyrics, Awolnation-"Sail"(w/Lyrics). I think there may be a reason why this song haunts me, but you will have to get to know me to figure out why that is. I can't seem to get the song on Pandora yet. Apparently there are licensing reasons. I get it, but I don't have to like it.
I am Ava's right now. Yes, that would be my favorite 24 hour coffee shop in Beaverton Oregon. Ava's details: www.AVARoasteria.com, 4655 SW Hall Blvd., Beaverton, OR, 97005, (503) 641-7270. They also have a catering center 1 block away and the reservation number for it is (503) 372-5100. Allow me to put a shout out to all of the awesome employees here! Hi guys and girlies! You are NUMBER 1!!!!
I'm doing homework, and I promise it will be a LATE night for me! I did run into my gal pal May A. She is wonderful, sweet, and stunning. She is headed to Hawaii in 2 days. I asked her to bring me back a pic to post for you. Don't let me down babe. I'm still waiting on Faisal's pic's from California to publish..... (Oh Faisal..... Where, oh where are my pic's???) So back to May A. (did I mention she is totally stunning?) She has had a recent break-up so I have had to pull the "Lesson's in Love" bullett out once again, and yet another amazing person in this world has been shot by it! Allow me to post it again.... Just in case you missed it the first time.
Lessons in Love
A ninety-one year old woman died after living a long dignified life. When she met God she asked him something that had long bothered her. If Man was created in God's image, and if all men are created equal, why do people treat each other so badly?
God replied that each person who enters our life has a unique lesson to teach us. And it is only through these lessons that we learn about life, people, relationships and God. This confused the woman, so God began to explain.
When someone lies to you it teaches you that things are not always as they seem. The truth is often far beneath the surface. Look beyond the masks people wear if you want to know their heart. And remove your own masks to let people know yours.
When someone steals from you it teaches you that nothing is forever. Always appreciate what you have, for you never know when you might lose it. And never, ever take your friends and family for granted because today is the only guarantee you have.
When someone inflicts an injury upon you it teaches you that the human state is a fragile one. Protect and take care of your body as best you can, it's the only thing you are sure to have forever.
When someone mocks you it teaches you that no two people are alike. When you encounter people who are different from you, don't judge them by how they look or act; instead base your opinion on the contents of their heart.
When someone breaks your heart it teaches you that loving someone does not always mean that person will love you back. But don't turn your back on love because when you find the right person, the joy that one person brings will make up for all the past hurts put together. Times ten.
When someone holds a grudge against you it teaches you that everyone makes mistakes. When you are wronged, the most virtuous thing you can do is forgive the offender without pretense. Forgiving those who have hurt us is the most difficult and courageous thing Man can do.
When a loved one is unfaithful to you it teaches you that resisting temptation is Man's greatest challenge. Be vigilant in your resistance against all temptation. By doing so you will be rewarded with an enduring sense of satisfaction far greater than the temporary pleasure by which you were tempted.
When someone cheats you, it teaches you that greed is the root of all evil. Aspire to make your dreams come true, no matter how lofty they may be. Do not feel guilty about your success, but never let an obsession with achieving your goals lead you to engage in malevolent activities.
When someone ridicules you it teaches you that nobody is perfect. Accept people for their merits and be tolerant of their flaws. Do not ever reject someone for imperfections over which they have no control.
Upon hearing the Lord's wisdom, the old woman became concerned that there were no lessons to be learned from Man's good deeds.
God replied that Man's capacity to love is the greatest gift he has. At the root of all kindness is love, and each act of love also teaches us a lesson.
The woman's curiosity deepening, God once again began to explain.
When someone loves us it teaches us that love, kindness, charity, honesty, humility, forgiveness and acceptance can counteract all the evil in the world. For every good deed, there is one less evil deed. Man alone has the power to control the balance between good and evil, but because the lessons of love are not taught often enough, the power is too often abused.
When you enter someone's life, whether by plan, chance or coincidence, consider what your lesson will be. Will you teach love or a harsh lesson of reality? When you die will your life have resulted in more loving or hurting? More comfort or pain? More joy or sadness?
Each one of us has power over the balance of love in the world. Use it wisely.
Don't miss an opportunity to nudge the world's scale in the right direction.
Pass this lesson of love on to those you love and to those you have hurt.
For each person who receives this, there will be a little less evil in the world and a little more love.

Oh what happy rain we are having Portland!
Hi there,
Today has been sick, wet, and windy! As Geoff Peterson, of Craig Ferguson's show, might say, "in your pants!" And I say no Geoff, not in your pants! Just in Portland. I was headed to Safeway and I watched many people walking the streets with their umbrella's battling the wind and battling their umbrella's. It was kind of funny. You should have been there.
I got many compliments on my cowboy hat as I was out..... Maybe I will bring back the cowboy hat. Watch out beanies, you may soon be replaced. Next will be the horses and their posts. What about the carriages. Think of all the smog we would eliminate. I think I may start a horse coalition one of these days. That way, the next time someone asks me where my horse is, I can tell them he's outside. I wonder what my cat's would think. Hmmmm.......
I have introduced my head f**ker to Faisal. He can't seem to get enough of it. When I am able, I will take a picture of it to show you. It was quite interesting watching him with it in the beginning. But now he is an expert. It's pretty awesome how it makes your head feel. A little creepy too. I hope you know what I am referring to. It looks a bit like a wire whisk but for your head. I guess you could also call it a head whisk. But I still choose to call it my head f**ker. Maybe one day I will let you use it.
I want to make a personal shout out to my awesome Engineering Graphics teacher Phil Eichenberg. HI PHIL!!!!! He is an awesome teacher. Very engaging and he knows his stuff. What I thought would be quite challenging seems to be much fun in his class. He is new to PCC Sylvania. If you are lucky to get in his class, go for it! In the meantime, Phil, I did the homework and am prepared for the AutoCAD computer next week. See you Tuesday!

ORLM unexpected today at Engineering Lab at school!
Hi there,
I was in the Engineering Lab at school today and an unexpected windfall fell upon me! As I was speaking with Richard, our lab manager, and Brett, PCC's Electrician, I mentioned that I rescue little men. I told them about ORLM "Operation Rescue Little Man" and LMRP "Little Man Rescue Pouch". Richard told me he had 2 little men for me! OH MY GOSH!!!! This is really happening, I thought to myself! This is clearly the job for me! He went and got the little men for me. I have more men and they are all safe. One was found on our soccer field by one of Richards friends and he found the other, I believe by the cafeteria. HELLO! What did I tell you. The little men are seeking me out for rescue and a fine warm family life for the rest of their being! I haven't even had a chance to tell my fellow rescue partner Faisal about this! He will be so pleased. Who knew that today in school would result in an ORLM for me and for the little men! I sure didn't!
I also came home with wiring instructions for my parabolic heater that has a dead switch. Wish me luck on it. I'm going to have to consult Brett on it after the repair job just to ensure that the job was done correctly. There is certainly no need to start a fire now, is there, Brett? Coolio!
I learned of the Burning Man festival today too. Have you heard of it? It seems pretty funky, man. I checked out the images online. There is nudity, so beware and you better be of proper age if you choose to check them out. It seems awesome. I, however, may not attend this year as the festival is from August 29 to September 5th, 2011 when I will be attending summer school. POOP! Next year, Burning Man 2012, here comes the Portland Persian Blog-a-Billy Chick! You better watch out! SUCKA!

Confessions of a Craigslist Junkee!
Hi there,
Have you ever turned on your computer and found yourself tuning to Craigslist for no reason at all? Well, I have... As a matter of fact, I was doing just that before logging in to my blog. I'm not sure why I do it. I'm not sure why you do it to. I just know if I do it, you do it to. What is it I am looking for? Nothing. What do I think I might find. Nothing. Have I ever admitted this to anyone before. No. I admit it to you because I know you won't judge me. If you do, you can just navigate from my page, but I don't think you will. I wouldn't.
Since I am looking for nothing, then what do I do when I get to the page. Hmmmm... Well, I check out the gigs, the services, sometimes just about anything in Tigard just to see what's going on and what exactly people are selling. I have to admit I check the personals too. Usually all of them, just to see who is posting and what they are looking for. I think it's funny when these people think they may actually find the person of their dreams on Craiglist. I'm not judging you, if you are the one posting. I just think you could probably find some sight that you actually pay money to, in order to find someone. If they are paying for it, you know they may be semi-legit. But if it's free, who's to say they are not a total wackjob. Now, I have responded to 3 ads in my life. Ironically, one of the guys I met is actually a friend of a dear friend of mine. It's funny, when I met him he said, "Oh my gosh, if you know our mutual friend, I can't bullshit you." I thought that was pretty funny. This is why I feel you should not try to meet people on Craigslist.
Also, remember the crazy guy that's now in jail because he killed the girl he met on Craigslist. Note to self, do not try to meet people on Craigslist. NOTED!
Ciao for now!

Fireball! Have you heard of it??? and shout out to Dr. Tommy!
Hi there,
I am placing a full disclosure that this is only for people reading who are over 21 years of age, legal drinking age, so if your country has a different legal drinking age, then follow it! This is in no way for people who are not of legal age or for alcoholic's whom should not even touch the stuff!
So, I have to tell you about Fireball Cinnamon Whiskey! It is the best cinnamon liqueur you will ever try. Buy it along with 7up or diet 7up, freeze it, grab some shot glasses, invite your favorite peops over, and shoot it! I recommend for full flavor, only pour half a shot glass. This way you get full flavor and you can have more shots. It's almost a waste to pour a full shot glass because you still get the same feeling inside. Now, after you shoot it, make sure you breath out. If you don't you will cough! I promise! It has a kick, a kick like fire and you will feel the warmth go down your throat, then come back up.... This stuff is supreme goodness! You will thank me! Here is the link to their website. Check it out. The music is fantastic as well! http://fireballwhisky.com/
Hi Dr. Tommy! My computer Doc! My minds blog machine, i.e. my Asus netbook is doing just dandy. If you would like to contact him for computer, laptop, or netbook repair... Here is the link to his site! http://www.computerrepairservices.name He is the best, and the BEST DEAL in town!
I had a test on Monday in my Statics class.... Guess what! I got an 88.4%! I think I'm doing pretty darn well! Wish me luck next Monday!... THANKS a bunch!
This week has been a tad difficult for me to hit my blog so I have to apologize.... I have been quite busy with school. I did have my Yoga Class tonight and I have to say the Miss Theresa Truesdell is just amazing. She has a heart of gold and I can tell why she teaches such a beautiful art! If you go to PCC, you really should take her class. I think you will be quite pleased, as will your mind, body, and soul.
Mission's have been on a standstill. Faisal and I will have to set out on Saturday so I will let you know what we accomplished... Hi Faisal! We still need to see Tron! Have you seen it yet? Seriously, check it out! Maybe Faisal and I will go on Saturday when we head out on a ORLM! Tune in! I have to get back to homework. Have a great day!

Rumi, Lesson's in Love, Snag Nab-it, Ground Kontrol... Now... TREE TO TREE Adventure Park!
Hi there,
So now you have heard a few things that are pretty great in my book. However, I have not mentioned the Tree to Tree Adventure Park in Gaston Oregon. They are located in the Scoggins Valley Park and they are totally RAD! We have a zip line park just about 45 minutes from Portland! Yippee! Obviously, they are in off season right now just like the mountain closes when it's not snowing. they close when the weather is stinky and the grass is muddy. They will be reopening in March 2011, which happens to be right around the corner. they have four courses and if you have the gut's to go through all of them, you are looking at about 4 hours of fun swinging like an ape and screaming laughter the whole way through! They do also take reservations, and I know my friends and I will be making them pretty soon so we can assure a spot hanging and swinging from tree to tree. OK Tarzan, where's Cheetah.... Remember his chimp Cheetah? I do! With a name like Chitra, how can I not bring the little hairy chimp into my minds blog!
the price is quite reasonable and it is sooo fun. You can get your friends and family together and make a day of it complete with a BBQ picnic on the lake. You can even rent a boat and go fishing. This place is also great for company outings because you can book a large group, have a potluck picnic, get some sun, and hey, why not catch some fish for later... SORRY FISH:(
Check out their website for directions, pricing, and bookings. I really do recommend you call ahead. I have never seen them, uh, how do you say, NOT BUSY! Hey and take cash to pay because you get a deal if you pay with cash. They also have a course for the youngin's or the height challenged. Their web address is treetotreeadventurepark.com, phone is (503) 357-0109, email for bookings is woody@treetotreeadventurepark.com, and their address is 2975 SW Nelson Road, Gaston, OR 97119. They do have the coolest mascot, you could say he is a tarzan like man with quite the handsome chiseled features for a cartoon man. Hey, remember, I'm single, so even cartoon man is pretty hot in my book! HA! Oh, and by the way, they sell season passes for a killer deal. Now that's just plain dandy in my book.
Faisal, me, you, and all of your PSU friends will have to hit the park several times when the weather get's warm! I am warning you, once you go, you won't ever want to leave. You will think of all the ways you can create a zip line at home. Then you will find that you will still go back for more!
I will be mentioning them again as I will soon be making MY reservations and will be going. I will let you all know when that is in case you would like to join us!

Do you know who Rumi is?
Hi there,
Rumi(1207-1273) is a famous Persian Sufi Poet.I did not grow up in a very religious family so when Rumi first entered my life, I was deeply touched. I wanted to share with you a few of his quatrains that make me feel like love is great. Sometimes love hurts and when it does, I like to lose myself in his poetry. Please read these with an open heart and mind.
The minute I heard my first love story
I began searching for you, not knowing
how foolish that was.
True lovers are not out there somewhere,
but in each other all along.
Last night,
I saw the realm of joy and pleasure.
There I melted like salt;
no religion, no blasphemy,
no conviction or uncertainty remained.
In the middle of my heart,
a star appeared,
and the seven heavens were lost in its brilliance.
I am powerless by Love's game.
How can you expect me
to behave and act modest?
How can you expect me
to stay at home,
like a good little boy?
How can you expect me
to enjoy being chained like a mad man?
Oh, my love, you will find me every night,
on your street,
with my eyes glued to your window,
waiting for a glimpse of your radiant face.
There is a certain Love
that is formed out of the
elixir of the East.
There is a certain cloud,
impregnated with a
thousand lightnings.
There is my body,
in it an ocean formed of his glory,
all the creation,
all the universes,
all the galaxies,
are lost in it.
That just about sums it up for me. I have a test tomorrow so I gotta go! :)

Here I am in the Engineering Lab at school.... again......... & Ransom note received at my door! Is it from "The Pic-Jacker"?
Hi there,
Whew, yesterday's blog took a lot out of me. I really did some soul-thinking as I wrote it. I hope it made you think a little. I'm still thinking about it today. I was able to get up early and get to school on time so I guess that means something in my brain.... What I mean by that is that I had a clear head and was tired pretty early so I got great sleep and had no problem getting up early. Sweet!
I had a severe disconnect in my Statics class today when I got my practice test. I seemed to have no problem with the more difficult "Law of Sines" and "Law of Cosines" but for some reason was unable to grasp the basic Sine, Cosine, and Tangent's. Hello brain, what the heck is happening to you?! I am still here in the lab as I have been since 1pm and am just now getting somewhere with them (Sine, Cosine, & Tangent). I just love how my mind works. Or do I? If you get a chance, check out "The Engineers Guide to Cats!" It's crazy funny. I should know since I'm in Engineering School and I have cats!
Speaking of cats! This morning when I was leaving my house for school, there was a piece of paper at my door. I think the pic-jacker knows where I live.... Or one of my friends is playing a sick joke on me.
I scanned in the note so this is it: I'm having a bit of a difficult time reading the last word. Can you please help me. Also, I am considering having it analyzed for fingerprints or DNA. I found a few black hairs on it so I put them in a baggie and will probably have them analyzed too. If this note is truly from the pic-jacker, I wonder how he found my home. Should I be worried? I may have to put "The Georgia" back to work....... Or maybe "The Smoker"................... Hmmmmmmmmmm...... He is very dangerous when he gets a "JOB" if you know what I mean. Otherwise, he is one sweet and fluffy kitty!
Let me know if you have any information that might help me.... I really don't want to send out "The Smoker!"
I have to get back to my homework.... I have a test on Monday. Wish me luck!
Ciao for now!

Did you read my post yesterday? and TODAY MARKS ONE MONTH FOR MY MINDS BLOG!
Hi there,
Did it change your life too? It seriously changed mine. I have known Roy since I was 13 years old. We met through a mutual friend and I am a lucky person to know him. I moved to Oregon in 1994 shortly after the Northridge, California earthquake. Talk about PTSD! Thanks earthquake! Anyway's, Roy and I lost touch for a few years after that, but one day back in 2005 I sat at my computer and began to Google myself (nothing!) and then people that meant a lot to me that I had kind of lost contact with. When I Googled Roy, Lesson's in Love kept coming up. When I launched to page, the essay popped up.
I began to read..... A 91 year old woman... I was mesmorized. I cried, and then cried some more. Everything that had ever happened to me that caused me pain and suffering (literally EVERYTHING!) was lifted from my heartspot. Peace took over where pain once lay. Like what yoga did for my body, Lesson's in Love did for my soul's being! Before this, when I would allow my mind to wander, the anger that stemmed from from the past hurts would return with a vengeance. The anger would manifest into hurt, then pain.... This truly changed my thinking and when the haunting thought's would return periodically, they turned into positive life lesson's.
These days, it is much easier to deal with life when it doesn't want to play nice with me. It is easier to let go of someone when I feel that things just aren't working. It is easier to forgive someone, when they hurt me. Now, don't get me wrong, if you are a mean person, you forever suck in my book. But everything else just flows on by.
I also have a different outlook when I meet people. I always try my best to be a lesson of love and in love. I always try my hardest to be a good person. I care about people and things just a little more. I always give people a chance even when I'm told not to and that they may not be worth my time. That is merely someone else's opinion and I want very much to form my own. I consider everyone my friend and no one my enemy. All of life deserves a chance and I am willing to give it. Appearances are not always as they seem, right? YES!
If I have met you, I like you! You know it to. My minds blog allows me now to forever remember you, and I treasure this. My writing teacher Mary Bartholomy at PCC Sylvania suggested that I blog. I was scared and it took me a long while to finally start it. My cousin is the one who pretty much kicked my butt to actually get it going. It took me 2 days of research and ballsof steele, but I did it.
Today is officially the one month mark of my minds blog. I owe this to everyone who has supported me. Mary, for showing me that I am a writer. My dearest Auntie M, Uncle J and cousin O for loving me unconditionally and showing me what a functional family life really is! My cousin Vernon for kicking my butt... OUCH! but thanks, SUCKA! Steve for giving me my minds blog machine so I could be mobile! Dr. Tommy for fixing my minds blog machine when it came home with a CTD (COMPUTER TRANSMITTED DISEASE!) really Dr. Tommy, because I was once again mobile! THANKS DOC! My Sensai who is still MIA but thought about daily! The guys at Jiffy Lube who showed me that people aren't just out too get a buck but really do tell the truth so my buck stayed with me! My dear, dear mother, for giving birth to me and putting up with me in my teen years when she should have truly thrown me out of the house for my disgusting behavior... I LOVE YOU, MOM!!!! My cat children, Georgia and Smokey for still snuggling and cuddling with me at night, even so my minds blog has cut into there playtime! My neighbors Terry, Tom, and Rusty for being totally awesome neighbors! My best friend Alicia for being my best friend and sister, and my best friend Jennifer for loving me for 25 years and counting unconditionally even when I wasnt such a good frind back.... I LOVE YOU BOTH TRULY AND DEEPLY! My fiends Irnesa and Cher for playing with me when I had no one to play with, and for introducing me to my newest and dearest friend Faisal whom I have a true connection with! THANKS GIRLS! You mean a lot to me! Faisal, for laughing with me when I am laughing at myself, and listening when no one else wants to.... and for joining me on my adventures so I don't have to go alone! And lets not forget being my rescue partner when out on ORLM! (See post from last weekend). Think of all the little men who will not be lost in this world! It's OK guys, we are on our way! Thanks, Faisal! To the people that are reading my minds blog from other countries..... Thank you for reading and I welcome any comments so maybe I can meet you through my minds blog and personally thank you online! Ground Kontrol, for giving me an arcade to hang out again and to work in once in a while, and hopefully much, much more in the near future! Ava coffee shop for being open 24 hours a day and Starbucks for fmaking me a GOLD CARD member so I can save mula when I caffeine up! Hafez Restaurant for being delicious and a great middle eastern restaurant near my house. Mr. Simonds at PCC for showing me that teachers really do care about their students and want them to learn. My newest friends in the Engineering Department at PCC Sylvania, for putting up with me and having the courage to do so since I spend more time with you than anyone else righ now!
If I have forgotten to thank you, it's only because I'm tired right now.... I will remember and I will thank you! Oh, and Mr. Roy Nwaisser, for writing the Lesson's in Love, so that I may forever pass on the love that you created when you wrote this! One person can make a difference as you did, and I follow you happily... If you are reading this, I believe you will make a difference too!
Ciao for now!

Blogger was down........ Please read this and I will discuss it tomorrow....
HI there,
Blogger was down. It just came back up. Read this... It will change your life!
It is the Lessons in Love,
A ninety-one year old woman died after living a long dignified life.

Paula Abdul is AMAZING in Live to Dance! "The Georgia" has posted a REWARD for BAD CAT the pic-jacker!!
Hi there,
I just got home from school and as I am typing this I have Paula Abdul's new show Live to Dance in the background and it's great. Check it out if you have a moment. I grew up with her and have always been a big fan. I never watched Idol though. I just don't think Simon was a nice person. I put him in the MEAN people category. Now that she has her own show.... I'm tuning in! Idol really messed up for what they did!
"The Georgia" has delivered a picture of the pic-jacker culprit. Apparently he has been sited in the Cedar Mill area off Walker Road! I am warning you that this is done by her hand after she spoke with the anonymous tipster.
She will not reveal the identity of the tipster nor will she allow me to make any changes to the reward poster. Please let me know if you have seen this cat:
Please remember that she and not I drew this......
I have noticed readership has slightly depleted since my minds blog began on December 6, 2010. Why? You ask? I don't know but I want to make it better. I need you guys to start talking to me..... Send me your comments, suggestions, concerns.... Anything! And if you have seen my Sensai, please let me know. Just because "The Georgia" is off the case doesn't mean I have to be. I am getting ready to seek a new blogmaster.... Anyone looking to help the Portland Persian Blog-a-Billy Chick? Me, that is.... you know, Chitra?
Hey, by the way, anyone else here in Oregon think it's a bit chilly out there? I can't walk more than a few steps without the water works going off in my nose and looking like Rudolf the Red Nosed Reindeer! Seriously! Someone grab me a Kleenex!
I'm off to my wonderful homework now..... Anyone had a chance to check out the Casio ClassPad 330? It's the best graphing calculator in the universe! I just adore it! Thank you Mr. Simonds at Portland Community College for not just being the BEST DARN TEACHER IN THE WORLD! but also for introducing it to me! Sorry TI89... :( but Casio has it on this one! And it's fast too! Sine, Cosine, and Tangent, here I come! Oh, and Mr. Right Triangle, YOU WILL NOT GET THE BEST OF ME YET!!!! I'm onto you!

ORLM Successful after all....... Back to school tomorrow......
Hi there,
Faisal and I were successful in ORLM-Operation Rescue Little Man! It was not 'til after my posting last night that I had learned some information that made the whole world sync together! I thought I had been the only person who seemed to be sought after by the Little Men for rescue and safe home-front. It turns out that Faisal himself had been long sought after for the same purpose. He had mentioned to me that he had some little men at home for me. I was thinking, sure you do! But as it turns out, he was absolutely not kidding! He had 3 Little Men. I asked where the heck did they come from and he said that one of his friends was cleaning out his house and was going to throw away 2 of the little men. Well, Faisal couldn't see it in his heart to allow that to happen so he brought them home. and recently he came across another little man and brought him home to. Just like me he knew deep down inside there was a reason for his odd decision, but at the time didn't realize quite what the reason was! He did not to let them go in the trash or disappear in the big wide world, the AMAZING FAISAL brought them home with him and little did he know that in due time our paths would cross and he too would truly understand the heroic consequences of his actions. He saved them, so I , WE, could save them all and give them a warm, loving and safe home. Now all the little men can gather and rejoice in safety during the golden years of their life. Thank you Faisal, and you're welcome LITTLE MEN!
And, what you just read, is really true. This is exactly how my mind thinks and now I share it with you. Strange with a side of odd and seconds of crazy, right? Only from my mind to yours. I bet you never thought of the Little Men before like this!
School starts tomorrow for me and many I know and probably you too! Study well, work hard, and remember if you wanna play, there's plenty of time after you graduate so for now, FOCUS! Civil Engineering, HERE I COME!
Today's post is short yet packed with good 'n plenty of things to think about. I must begin packing my rolling NIKE backpack (Sorry Dakine, your rolling pack just couldn't hack my kind of book load!). I'll be back morrow! I must get to bed early since class starts at 8am!

Shoot! I forgot my tiny mouse....... ORLM.... LMRP.... and....
Hi there,
Yeah, that's right! I forgot my tiny retractable mouse that I just got for my netbook! Oh well, I just had to share that funny moment with you.... I was laughing as I typed it too! Ha HA!
Faisal and I went on an adventure today.... Actually, we were on a RESCUE MISSION! We started our mission, let's call it "Operation Rescue Little Man!" or ORLM for short! Before you get excited, our mission was unsuccessful... However we were able to locate a "Little Man Rescue Pouch"
or LMRP for short. So, this means that our next ORLM we will be readily prepared with our LMRP to rescue them in. I do understand that I will eventually need a larger LMRP but the size is just right for now. I will keep you all in the loop as I and we continue any ORLM's in the near future.
What did you do on New Years Eve? I worked at Ground Kontrol! I did have to cancel on my plans-sorry Faisal.... :( But I had to work so this just means that we got to hang out for most of the day today. And lets not forget we got to embark on a rescue mission as well. If we had stayed out late last night we may have been far too tired to even consider it. Ground Kontrol was totally RAD! It was FREE PLAY ALL NIGHT WITH $15.00 cover which also happened to include champagne at new years! Did I mention it was RAD!!! Yup, but it deserved a repeat. I know where I'll be next New Years Eve! Maybe you can come!
HAPPY NEW YEARS DAY!!!!!!!.. by the way! I called my voice-mail last night after 1am in attempts to locate a number. As I listened to the date stamp, it kept repeating the year two thousand ten. It took me a moment to realize that this was because we are now in two thousand eleven. HELLO! What "Funky Chicken" happened to 2010?
