Ground Kontrol was RAD......... You should've been there!

Hi there,

I very much believe that my assistance helped get many fine people to the WARP ZONE(temporary stand in location)! I gave myself the title of Kontrol Director, ready to direct one and all to GROUND KONROL's WARP ZONE! I spoke with almost everyone that walked by. I even spoke with people across the street if they looked my way at Ground Kontrol Klassic (You know, their permanent location being remodeled right now. By the way, their current temporary address is 32 NW 5th, between NW Couch and N Burnside and when the remodel is complete, they are calling it 3.0. Get it, upgrade 3.0! GENIUS THEY ARE) I did freeze myself. My face, my hands and my feet. I piled the socks and gloves on but gosh was it freezing. Oh, and lets not forget the rain from last night. Yippee, freezing and wet I was!

It was pretty fun at times when people didn't realize that I was working for them. Sometimes I tried to tell people that tried to look away and ignore me like I was some crazy person! We always laughed once they realized that I was indeed working and not just trying to harass them. A Portland Security Guard even thought I was loitering. (Thanks Aidan!) I even got some people to go there that didn't know they wanted to. And, of course there was the people that had never heard of them before. After tonight it is surely in their heads that Ground Kontrol exists! When will I see you there??

So, I'm wondering why no one comments on my minds blog?? I hope you are reading it because you are enjoying it. It sure would be grand to hear from you. Alas, I am a patient blogger who looks forward to any of your comments.

Tonight in downtown was the Santa Pub Crawl too. It took a few rounds of groups of Santa's for me to realize that it wasn't the same group walking around in circle's. It was so funny. Good thing they didn't have their sleigh's. Could you imagine seeing Santas sleigh with the poor reindeer in the impound lot as his elves are eagerly trying to post bail before Mrs. Claus finds out? She sure would be %^&%$&^%#^&%! I did meet a nice Santa who lost his girlfriend due to the Santa Crawl starting so early and possibly one too many Hot Buttered Rum's. He was such a nice Santa. I hope he made it snowmobiling today. Hi dear sweet Santa! I hope all is well!

I still do not have a picture of the Christmas project I worked on Thursday night. I apologize. It will be quite worth it when you finally see it. Someone asked me the other day, why am I blogging. Well, just simply to communicate with all of the people out there. Also to journal my life so I never forget an awesome thing I did or an awesome person I meet. I began this late last night at Ava's. I just couldn't finish it because I was so tired.

Ciao for now,

Chitra, Portland Persian Blog-a-Billy Chick
